Transitory events

In this rather eclectic Submerge episode, attention is paid to a range of (transitory) events. During the Japanese New Music Festival in Channel Zero, a number of Japanese experimental and psychedelic bands / artists present themselves. In Izola, the focus lays on the moving image during the Kino Otok festival.

The series of light-hearted events that usually take place on Kongresni trg, is interrupted by a performance of Roly Porter. One of the organisers of the concert is the Museum of Transitory Art (MoTA). As a museum without a permanent space and its focus on supporting artists, it’s clear that MoTA doesn’t operate as a typical / classical ‘white cube museum’.
